About Wynn

Wynn Washle, Ph.D. is a Broker Associate/Partner at The Group Real Estate serving all of Northern Colorado. Wynn has had the wonderful privilege of assisting friends and customers with their real estate needs since 1999.

Raised in Southern California, Wynn and his wife, Karen met at Long Beach State before moving to Blacksburg where he earned his Doctorate at Virginia Tech in Marriage, Family & Child Therapy. Upon moving to Fort Collins in 1989, Wynn was in a private therapy practice. Also, prior to joining The Group, Inc. in 1999, Wynn was the Director of Strategic Planning for Duke Communications in Loveland. For several years, he served as the President of The Teamwork Group, a training and development company in Northern Colorado.

Wynn is actively involved with Foothills Rotary of Fort Collins and The Association of Catholic Student Councils and was the 2010-2011 Campaign Co-Chair for United Way of Larimer County.

Wynn has also served on various Boards of Directors including the Women’s Center of Larimer County, Colorado Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, The Association of Catholic Student Councils, the Foothills Rotary Club of Fort Collins, and has served three terms on the Board of Directors for The Group Real Estate and is currently Board Chairman.

Life at The Group has become a family business as Wynn and Karen’s oldest daughter, Laura Jo Washle-Bhimani, is a licensed Realtor and they formed the Washle Real Estate Team. If you have worked with Wynn and Laura Jo, you know Karen is also an integral part of the team handling all the marketing, transaction coordination and is the team’s go- to-resource on finding pretty much everything you might need (handyman, electrician, movers, dentists, painters, etc.). Laura Jo’s husband, Imran Bhimani, is also in the business as commercial Realtor with LC Commercial.

Karen and Wynn’s youngest daughter, Kyndall, is living her best life in Long Beach, CA and is a Giorgio Armani manager for Nordstroms. In their spare time, Wynn and Karen enjoy CSU sporting events (Wynn is one of the Official Scorers for the men’s and women’s basketball teams); listening to live local music, entertaining and dining with friends, cycling, golfing, traveling the world and especially enjoying our Colorado mountains and the Palm Desert area.

About Laura Jo

Laura Jo was born and raised in Fort Collins. She graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, NE with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Laura Jo rowed four years on the Creighton Division I Crew Team, so she loves early morning work outs. After graduating, Laura Jo worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a Corporate Auditor. She has now been a Broker Associate/Partner of The Group, Inc since 2016. Laura Jo is married to Imran Bhimani who works for LC Real Estate. Like most Coloradoans, they enjoy being outdoors – golfing, hiking, pickleball, traveling and spending time with friends and their dog, Theo in Northern Colorado.

About Karen

Karen has been working with Wynn since 2005, forming the “Washle Team” to provide exceptional real estate service for our buyers and sellers. Karen and Wynn have lived in Fort Collins since 1989 and consider it living in paradise! It has been a wonderful place to raise our daughters and be part of a fabulous community. Karen was a dental hygienist for 18 years and has enjoyed her role as Marketing and Transaction Coordinator to Wynn, Laura Jo and their clients. Outside the office she loves reading, entertaining, hiking, walking with friends and their dog, bowling, and community service. Karen looks forward to helping you and the Team with your real estate needs!
